WINNER Unveils Debut Album in Japan on September 10… Holding Large-Scale Concert
[스타뉴스 이지현 기자] Rookie boy group WINNER’s debut album in Japan is unveiled on September 10.
YG Entertainment (“YG”) made such announcement on the 15, disclosing information about songs included in WINNER’s debut album in Japan.
Songs in WINNER’s Korean album “2014 S/S”, as well as “GO UP” and “JUST ANOTHER BOY” performed in cable channel Mnet’s “WHO IS NEXT : WIN” show, will be included in in WINNER’s “2014 S/S –Japan Collection-“.
All 11 songs are included in the album in Japanese, and SONG MIN HO’s solo track “I’m him” is also included in the album as a bonus track.
Notably, “GO UP” has already been performed when WINNER stood on the opening stage of BIGBANG’s Japan six dome tour that drew 770,000 people, and when WINNER performed in “YG Family World Tour 2014 – POWER – in Japan” that drew 210,000 people, so a favorable response to the song is expected.
The debut album is enjoying a great popularity, sweeping No.1 on music charts, as WINNER fully exerted their talent and expression for songwriting by taking part in writing the melody and lyrics of all the songs in the album. Moreover, WINNER is drawing attention overseas, too, taking the No.1 on five countries’ iTunes and on China’s QQ Dien Fung chart popularity index chart.
On September 11, the next day of the Japanese album’s release, WINNER will begin local concert tour “WINNER 1st JAPAN TOUR 2014”.
The tour will begin in Tokyo on September 11 and then move on to Sapporo on September 23, Fukuoka on September 28, Nagoya on September 30 and October 1, Osaka on October 3 and 4, and Tokyo again on October 10 and 11. So, total 11 concerts will be held in five cities.
Meanwhile, WINNER will have their official debut performance in “YG Family Concert” of “’AIA REAL LIFE : NOW FESTIVAL 2014” that will be held on the 15 at Jamsil Sports Complex located in Seoul.
WINNER will meet fans in TV for the first time in SBS TV’s music-ranking show “INKIGAYO” on the 17 this month.
