SONG MINHO X BOBBY holds hip-hop party on the 22… “Large-scale promotion”
[동아닷컴=장경국 기자] “MOBB”, a unit boy group formed by WINNER’s SONG MINHO and iKON’s BOBBY, will host large-scale promotion events.
Today (Sep. 21) in the morning, YG Entertainment announced news about the opening of “MOBB”s pop-up store “MOBB STORE” and hip-hop party “MOBB NIGHT”, to draw keen attention.
The promotion events will be held on September 22 in Itaewon area in Seoul. Considering the carefree and youthful image of Itaewon, the promotions are expected to be carried out in a very passionate and fancy atmosphere.
First, “MOBB STORE” will be opened from 7PM to 11PM on September 22, on Itaewon-ro (street) in Itaewon. A special event is prepared for the opening day, so it is drawing big attention from fans.
The store will be opened from 3PM until 9PM from September 23 to October 2. MOBB’s off-line album, SONG MINHO and BOBBY’s behind photos, as well as limited goods sold only at the pop-up store will be available at the store.
“MOBB NIGHT” held on the same day is a club party hosted by SONG MINHO and BOBBY. It is held from 10PM at club “BOOMBA” in Itaewon. It will be an “invitation only” party, so celebrities from various fields will gather at the party. The fancy hip-hop party will present not only “MOBB”s passionate performances as well as top DJ’s performances.
MOBB has already successfully carried out the first and second events out of four promotions announced under the title of “MOBB TOWN”. The first promotion V-APP countdown live-broadcasting and the second promotion event of collaboration with “PBA (PIZZA & BEER PUB)” located in Gyeongridan-gil, Itaewon, Seoul, were rounded off in great success. Now, the opening of MOBB STORE which is the third event and hosting of “MOBB NIGHT” which is the fourth even are expected to create sensation again.
