WINNER’s “EMPTY” & “COLOR RING” teaser out: Official debut performance Aug 15
[엑스포츠뉴스=한인구 기자] WINNER, YG Entertainment’s first boy group in 9 years since BIGBANG, unveiled their teaser image of the double title tracks “EMPTY” and “COLOR RING.”
10 months ago the group seized victory on “WIN: WHO IS NEXT” aired last year, and on August 12 at 0 hour WINNER unveiled the track list of the debut album “2014 S/S.” In early morning of August 11, YG’s official blog (www.yg-life.com) revealed a teaser image of the upcoming album to build up even more excitement.
From the two images the themes of the songs are hinted: In “EMPTY,” the five members lean on a car in suits, while in “COLOR RING” they each stand on a staircase showering in sunlight dressed in monotonic casual outfits.
WINNER, who is to reveal their musical talents by revealing an album of which they wrote and composed all 10 songs on their own, will have their official performance on August 15 at YG Family Concert.
At “AIA REAL LIFE: NOW FESTIVAL 2014” to be held in Jamsil Sports Complex, WINNER will have their official debut by unveiling their new songs, performing with other YG artists.
WINNER had opened BIGBANG’s Japan’s 6 largest dome tour and 2NE1’s World Tour, but it is their first to release their own album and perform on stage for it. WINNER will proudly announce their emergence by going on stage with other YG family members.
Many eyes are on WINNER to see what kind of performance they will showcase along with other YG artists like BIGBANG, PSY, 2NE1, EPIK HIGH, AKDONG MUSICIAN and LEE HI.
