AKMU tops charts 10 consecutive days, High4 + 15& also in top range
[스타뉴스 길혜성 기자] The sibling duo AKDONG MUSICIAN (AKMU) of LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SOO HYUN is showing incredible power by topping music charts for 10 days in a row with their debut album’s title track.
Currently at 8 am on April 16, one of the three title tracks “200%” has been topping 3 major real-time music charts including Melon, Olleh Music and Genie.
The winner of last year’s SBS audition program K-Pop Star Season 2, AKMU unveiled a debut album “PLAY” on April 7. Immediately after its release the track “200%” dominated #1 on major music charts, and it still stands at the top after 10 days of the release.
This is unprecedented in the music market where changes happen quickly. It is a proof that AKMU’s fresh music is well received by the public.
On April 14, “200%” had already topped April’s second-week weekly charts on Melon, Naver Music, Mnet, Daum Music, Olleh Music, Soribada, and Genie.
At the same time, 15&’s (Park Ji Min and Park Ye Rin) new song “Can’t Hide It” topped Mnet and Monkey 3 while High4 and IU’s “Not Spring, Love or Cherry Blossoms” topped Naver and Daum music, Ali with “Tears Keep Coming” on Soribada, and Kang Min Hee & Kanto’s with “Call Me Noona” on Bugs.
