[마이데일리 = 전원 기자] BIGBANG’s SEUNGRI appeared on SBS’s special weekend drama “Angel Eyes” (Script by Yoon Ji Ryun, Directed by Park Shin Woo) for the first time, playing a sly yet cute character.

The 3rd episode aired on April 12 (Sat) featured his character TEDDY SEO, a young and passionate Korean-American who uses mixed accents of Texan and Chungcheong, returning to Korea to fulfill the wish of becoming a rescue worker.

TEDDY SEO appears when he is allocated to Seyoung Fire Department, saying hello to his new colleagues in a dialect. When the others ask him where he got the dialect, SEUNGRI, who plays Teddy, explains that he grew up in Texas. His lines make the viewers laugh as he comically mixes English and Chungcheong dialect when he speaks.

Yoon Soo Wan (played by KU HYE SUN), who now has to look after TEDDY under the chief’s command, complains that “he is not helping—rather it’s like cleaning up excrements!” To this, TEDDY innocently asks, “What does that mean? Do rescue workers have to clean up excrements?”

SEUNGRI, who is trying the transformation of becoming an actor from a singer, is receiving positive reviews for naturally acting out the quirky yet sly character.
