AKMU’s 3rd title track: “GIVE LOVE”
[일간스포츠 한제희] It is confirmed that AKDONG MUSICIAN’s (AKMU) 3rd title track is “GIVE LOVE.”
At midnight of April 14, YG Entertainment uploaded a poster on its official blog that read, “GIVE LOVE is the 3rd title track.” And so the last title track that follows “200%” and “MELTED” was finalized. YG’s founder YANG HYUN SUK previously said the track that becomes most popular in the one week after the release will be the final title track. “200%” was chosen by YG, while “MELTED” was by AKMU.
Since the release of AKMU’s debut album on April 7 online, “GIVE LOVE” became the most popular following “200%” and “MELTED.” On the 8th day of its release, on April 14, the song still ranks at the top range: #4 on Olleh Music and #7 on Melon and Bugs.
“GIVE LOVE” is inspired by the phrase written on a love-heart that is used on a smart phone game. It is a track that shows AKMU’s originality and unique ideas, which was showcased to the fans when they appeared on SBS’s K-Pop Star Season 2.
