AKMU streams concert live on Naver, April 9
[OSEN=선미경 기자] The sibling duo AKDONG MUSICIAN (AKMU) holds a live streaming concert through Naver Music.
In celebration of the offline release of their debut album “PLAY” on April 9, AKMU is to hold a live streaming concert through Naver Music under the title “PLAY IN CAFE” from 8 pm. Held in a coffee shop in Seoul, the concert is building much expectation as the duo will be performing songs from their album with an acoustic guitar, including the double title songs “200%” and “MELTED.”
On April 5, Arbor Day, AKMU held a preview event “PLAY IN SEOUL FOREST” at an outdoor stage to unveil all the songs from their latest album, attracting 5,000 people.
The upcoming Naver Music event will be available on PCs and mobile phones, and will provide an opportunity for AKMU to talk to their fans through a real-time communication session.
LEE CHAN HYUK is arousing much attention by writing, composing and producing all the 11 songs in the album, and all eyes are on AKMU to see how charming the acoustic versions would be.
Meanwhile, AKMU knocked down real-time music charts and lined up all their songs on ranking lists immediately after the album release at noon on April 7, while garnering a similar level of popularity in 5 other countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore by topping their iTunes album charts.
