DAESUNG adds another performance to Nippon Budoukan Arena Tour
[스타뉴스 전형화 기자] BIGBANG’s DAESUNG, upon request from the Japanese fans, decided to add another performance in Nippon Budoukan.
YG Entertainment on March 29 announced, “DAESUNG will have an additional performance on July 18 at Nippon Budoukan.”
DAESUNG was originally scheduled to perform a total of 12 times across 7 cities for his solo Arena Tour “D-LITE Tour 2014 in Japan” starting from Yokohama Arena on June 11, Kobe World Memorial Hall, and Marine Messe Fukuoka to Nippon Budoukan on July 17.
DAESUNG’s tour attracted 200,000 registrations for the tickets, and the last performance at Nippon Budoukan drew registrations which volume was 3 times larger than the indicated maximum number. Thus DAESUNG confirmed to add another concert in the same hall, travelling across 7 cities to perform a total of 13 times. He is expected to be joined by 138,000 fans.
DAESUNG released his solo album “D’scover” in Japan early last year, and broke the record for a first South Korean solo album in Japan when he ranked #2 in the country’s Oricon Weekly Chart. He successfully completed the “D-LITE D’scover Tour 2013 in Japan” across 20 cities where he performed 26 times in front of a total of 100,000 fans.
DAESUNG is scheduled to release a new solo album on July 16 in Japan.
