[스타뉴스 김관명 기자] Psy’s ‘Gentleman’ beat Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ on YouTube’s most watched music video in the world.
According to the official YouTube’s statics revealed on Dec 11 (local time), the most watched music video on YouTube in 2013 is Psy’s ‘Gentleman’ that was posted on April 13, with 599.4 million views.
So Psy is officially chosen as the top artist with the most viewed music video on YouTube 2 years in a row, with his ‘Gangnam Style’ in the previous year. ‘Gangnam Style’ was unveiled on July 15 in 2012, and as of Dec 12 6 p.m., the viewer number hit 1.85 billion views.
#2 and #3 came Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ with 399.8 million views and ‘We Can’t Stop’ with 354.7 million views.
Psy and Milye Cyrus were followed by Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’ (255.1 million views), Pink’s ‘Just Give Me a Reason’ (237.8 million views), Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ (232 million views), Rihanna’s ‘Stay’ (220 million views), Naughty Boy’s ‘La La La’ (232.2 million views), Selena Gomez’s ‘Come & Get It’ (182.8 million views).
