[스타뉴스 길혜성 기자] YG Entertainment’s new boy group WINNER (with members Song Min Ho, Kim Jin Woo, Lee Seung Hoon, Nam Tae Hyun and Kang Seung Yoon) is already heating up the advertising world with their popularity.
According to personnel familiar with the advertising and music world on Nov 14, WINNER was already offered to partake in 5 major advertisements. Considering the fact that the group has not even made an official debut yet, the degree of attention the team is receiving from the advertising world is an infrequent opportunity.
The secret to their popularity in the advertising world is their already star-like aura. The team was the final winning team in the last episode of Mnet’s ‘WHO IS NEXT: WIN’, which was aired on Oct 26. At the ‘High Touch Event’ held with the then Team B (members B.I., Kim Jin Hwan, Bobby, Song Yoon Hyung, Koo Jun Hoe and Kim Dong Hyuk) in mid October attracted over whopping 3,000 fans, which surely came as a surprise to YG Entertainment.
Apart from this, WINNER is arousing much attention everywhere they go, especially from their big fans. The team has already secured a solid fan base even before their official debut.
The advertising world recognized the star-like character the team possesses, as this is the new group YG has presented in several years. There is a race amongst advertisers, offering WINNER to feature in their advertisements.
YG Entertainment told Star News, “Currently WINNER has been offered to feature in 5 major advertisements, and we will select the one that suits the image of WINNER and then accept the request.”
WINNER won the battles held in the survival program ‘WIN’, which was aired from the end of August to the end of October, in the aim to determine the formation of YG’s next boy group. Now WINNER is waiting to make an official debut.
Meanwhile, the group took part in KBS 2FM ‘Yoo In Na’s Crank Up the Volume’, which will go one air in the evening of Nov 20. WINNER and Yoo In Na belong to YG Entertainment.
