[스타뉴스 = 윤성열 기자] America’s famous music magazine SPIN spotlighted BIGBANG’s TAEYANG (other members consist of G-DRAGON, DAESUNG, SEUNGRI and T.O.P), who released a song as a solo recently.

SPIN, on its official webpage on Nov 11, introduced TAEYANG’s new music video of ‘Ringa Linga’ to the viewers. The article read, “K-pop singer TAEYANG has returned with two music videos for “Ringa Linga,” his first solo single in three years.”

The article also added, “his bandmate G-Dragon has a co-writing credit.” As the article showers TAEYANG’s dance performance video accompanied by the back-up dancers with spotlight, it writes, “The short offers a (relatively) low-key glimpse at a highly choreographed routine.”

The article describes the scenes from the music video, “The official video, meanwhile, chronicles a post-apocalyptic rave-up. Hit the play button above to see Taeyang teleport from a bombed-out street alley, to the top of a crane set against an orange sunset, to a futuristic truck-ish vehicle traveling through a Tron-style wormhole.”

The dance performance video of TAEYANG’s ‘Ringa Linga’ featuring America’s top 12 dancers attracted whopping 7 million viewers to his YouTube channel in just one week. The official music video that followed on Nov 9 is also heating up by raking in more than 3 million viewers.

TAEYANG is scheduled to hold a comeback performance on Mnet’s M Countdown on Nov 14.
