He went on to say, “They reminded me of the initial resolution that I had when I was a trainee. While I gave them words of advice, I myself learned a lot, too.”

To a question “How did you feel about the selection of Team A (Gang Seung Yoon, Lee Seung Hoon, Song Min Ho, Kim Jin Woo, and Nam Tae Hyun) as the winner to make debut?”, Taeyang answered, “I was touched, and frankly, I think that was the right decision, considering various circumstances.”

“WIN” was a show that depicted the 10-week process of selecting the members of “WINNER”, YG’s new boy band to be formed seven years after BIGBANG’s debut. “WINNER” was selected by viewers’ vote for performance on the final battle stage which was held on the 25 last month at Olympic Park SK Handball Hall, located in Songpa-Gu, Seoul. Team A, the winning team, is expecting their official debut in the K-Pop world, under the name of WINNER.
