BABYMONSTER continues its meteoric rise on YouTube with the “WE GO UP” music video, and now YG Entertainment is fueling the momentum with a high-quality performance video set for release at midnight on October 14.
According to YG Entertainment on October 13, the music video for BABYMONSTER’s second mini album title track “WE GO UP” surpassed 30 million views on YouTube at around 6 a.m. that day. The growth has accelerated rapidly, it took one day to reach 10 million views, 22 hours to hit 20 million, and just 19 hours more to break 30 million.
To keep the momentum going, YG announced that it will unveil the “WE GO UP EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO” at 12 a.m. on October 14 (KST). Given the MV’s explosive trajectory, the new clip is expected to spark yet another surge in BABYMONSTER’s global popularity.
This upcoming performance video was first hinted at by YG’s Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK, who had revealed plans for a choreography video that would match the scale and cinematic quality of the original music video. In preparation, YG began early pre-production and collaborated with a mega dance crew to deliver a grand, visually powerful presentation. The company also secured multiple filming locations and carried out several days of intensive shoots to perfect the performance.
The newly released “WE GO UP EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO D-1” poster has heightened fans’ anticipation even further. It features a vast runway illuminated under the night sky, symbolizing BABYMONSTER’s upcoming reveal of their powerful choreography, a visual hint at the epic scale awaiting fans.
