According to YG Entertainment on January 30th, BABYMONSTER’s video for “DRIP” on the ‘THE FIRST TAKE’ channel surpassed ten million views around 1 PM on the 28th, achieving this record in just over a month. In the last two days alone, it has gained an additional 340,000 views.
‘THE FIRST TAKE’ highlighted this achievement in a separate post, praising BABYMONSTER for their vocal prowess, visuals, and character presence. As the concept of the channel is to capture artists’ live performances in a single take, music fans are continuously amazed by the group’s steady vocal strength, leading to ongoing high praise.
BABYMONSTER has firmly established themselves as the next ‘YouTube Queens,’ consistently drawing millions of views and rave reviews from global fans on every content they feature in. Their performance of “DRIP” at last year’s SBS Gayo Daejeon surpassed all other artists with a record 8.17 million views, and their band live of “SHEESH” on ‘It’s Live’ broke the channel’s record with 17.17 million views.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is set to expand their global presence with their first world tour, ‘HELLO MONSTERS.’ They successfully kicked off the tour with a concert at the KSPO DOME in Seoul, known as the Mecca of K-pop. The tour will continue with upcoming shows in Newark on February 28th and Los Angeles on March 2nd.
