TREASURE Kicks Off Their Japanese Fan Meeting Tour in Style: Grand Finale Set for Tokyo Dome in November
[OSEN=지민경 기자] YG Entertainment’s TREASURE heated up Fukuoka, the first city of their Japan fan meeting tour, marking a delightful start.
Over the 1st and 2nd of the month, TREASURE held their ‘2023 TREASURE FAN MEETING~HELLO AGAIN~’ at the Fukuoka Convention Center. This signals the splendid beginning of their debut Japanese fan meeting tour, which boasts 20 events across five cities.
Since Fukuoka is the hometown of member HARUTO, the fan meeting garnered interest from local fans early on. Due to intense demand, all seats were quickly sold out. Furthermore, tickets that were opened in response to fan requests also sold out rapidly, showcasing their explosive popularity in the area.
During the fan meeting, HARUTO and ASAHI took on the role of MCs, making the day even more memorable. They shared their feelings about returning to Fukuoka after 10 months and discussed various topics. They engaged fans through various segments, such as quizzes related to their first Japanese arena tour ‘TREASURE WORLD MAP’, team battle games, and more.
They heightened the concert vibe with an extensive setlist. Members made their entrance riding moving cars and serenaded fans with songs like ‘LOVESICK’ and ‘Here I Stand’, ensuring they reached every corner of the audience. They also performed their hit songs, including the title track ‘BONA BONA’ from their second album, which topped charts on Line Music, Oricon, and Billboard Japan.
TREASURE commented, “We were nervous since it was our first fan meeting, but seeing our fans’ smiling faces, we lost track of time and enjoyed ourselves. Interacting closely, it felt like we became friends with our fans. We’re grateful and look forward to making even more memories”.
After Fukuoka, TREASURE will continue their tour visiting Kobe World Memorial Hall in Hyogo Prefecture from September 8th to 10th, Yokohama Pia Arena MM from September 16th to 18th, Aichi Prefecture International Exhibition Center in Nagoya from September 23rd to 24th, and Ariake Arena in Tokyo from September 30th to October 1st. The grand finale will be held at the dream stage, Tokyo Dome, on November 12th.
Meanwhile, TREASURE recently released their second full album ‘REBOOT’. The album has achieved significant success, with combined domestic sales and international exports surpassing 1.71 million copies (based on Circle Chart), making them join the million-seller ranks. Riding this momentum, they are expected to release the music video for the track “B.O.M.B” and new arranged songs in September.
