BABYMONSTER Appears As Guests At 2NE1’s Concert…”Such an Honor”
[이데일리 스타in=윤기백 기자] Group BABYMONSTER took the stage as special guests for the “fully united” YG senior group 2NE1 at their concert.
On October 6th, BABYMONSTER performed at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park during the third day of the “2024 2NE1 Concert [WELCOME BACK] in Seoul.” They showcased their tracks “SHEESH” and “BATTER UP”
True to their role as juniors of 2NE1, BABYMONSTER delivered a resounding live vocal performance and explosive stage presence, dominating the stage. The audience, captivated by their performance, spontaneously joined in a sing-along during the latter part of the songs. The members of BABYMONSTER responded to the enthusiastic crowd by making eye contact and encouraging more sing-alongs, displaying exceptional stage manners.
“It’s our first time gracing the stage as guests, and to do so at 2NE1 seniors’ concert is truly an immense honor,” said BABYMONSTER. “We are committed to working hard to become great artists like our seniors.” Following their own set, BABYMONSTER performed snippets of 2NE1’s hit songs, earning loud cheers from the crowd.
“WELCOME BACK” marks 2NE1’s first full-group concert in approximately ten years and six months, celebrating their 15th debut anniversary. The special performance is set to engage passionately with 12,000 fans over three days.
Starting with the Seoul concert, 2NE1 will embark on an Asia tour that includes 15 shows across nine cities. They plan to connect with more global fans as they travel to Manila, Jakarta, Kobe, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei.
