TREASURE’s YOSHI and JUNKYU Feature in a Mysterious Concept Poster for “KING KONG”
[뉴스엔=이민지 기자] TREASURE has unveiled individual posters offering a sneak peek into the concept for their new song, “KING KONG”.
On May 20th, YG Entertainment released the “TREASURE – ‘KING KONG’ CONCEPT POSTER” on their official social media. The black and white posters, reminiscent of a wanted poster, prominently feature YOSHI and JUNKYU.
The aura and charisma of the two members are undeniable. YOSHI’s odd-eye styling and the scars across his face create an extraordinary atmosphere, while JUNKYU’s direct gaze leaves a strong impression.
Notably, phrases like “WANTED” and “CAUTION” written at the bottom of the image spark the imagination. This is especially intriguing as the teaser previously revealed that the cause of a massive vibration event was “KING KONG”. Fans are eagerly speculating about the reasons behind the members’ “wanted” status and the new song’s concept.
TREASURE’s digital single “KING KONG” is set to release on May 28th at 6 PM. YG Entertainment has promised that the track will showcase an intense level of energy and charisma, distinct from their previous music, heightening anticipation for the visuals of the other members yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, TREASURE is currently on their second Asia tour, the “2024 TREASURE RELAY TOUR REBOOT”, covering five cities in nine shows, and will start a fan meeting tour in Japan from July. Additionally, they are making rapid progress on a new album slated for release this fall.
