BABYMONSTER Tops Non-Drama TV Personality Buzz Rankings for Their Appearance on ‘Knowing Bros’

According to the April second-week TV and OTT non-drama personality buzz rankings released by GoodData Corporation on April 16th, BABYMONSTER emerged first. Their debut on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’ marked their first appearance on a variety TV show, immediately capturing significant attention and leading them to the number one spot. Furthermore, BABYMONSTER also ranked first in the video category among the four elements contributing to their buzz.

Actor An Jae-hyun took the second place, spurred by the popularity of his single life depicted on ‘I Live Alone’. An Jae-hyun topped the news and VON (Voice of Netizen) sections of the buzz components.

Third place was secured by actor Park Ji-hwan, known from ‘You Quiz on the Block’, where advice from his mother and stories about his characters in other programs have made headlines. This ranking, published by GoodData Corporation on their official platform Fundex (www.fundex.co.kr), covers broadcasts or releases from April 8 to April 14, 2024, including TV non-dramas, OTT original non-dramas, and their participants and guests. The competitiveness of the programs was assessed by analyzing news articles, VON, video clips, shorts, social media, and netizen reactions. Data unrelated to the programs or intentionally manipulated to boost buzz scores was filtered out, ensuring an analysis accuracy of over 97%.
