BABYMONSTER Ready for Action as a Full Group: “We’ve Been Eagerly Waiting… Excited and Nervous”

On the 31st, a live broadcast titled ‘Debut Countdown Special’ was held on the official BABYMONSTER YouTube channel to interact with fans.
Host JaeJae asked, “A lot of people have been eagerly awaiting your official debut, right?” RAMI responded, “Finally, all seven of us are making our full-group debut. Just like our fans, we have been eagerly waiting too. It’s thrilling, we’re looking forward to it, and part of us is also nervous.”
RUKA, AHYEON, ASA, RORA, CHIQUITA, and PHARITA also shared their messages to the fans, saying, “We’re nervous but we’ll work hard,” and “We’ve prepared a lot since you’ve waited so long, so please look forward to it and give us a lot of love.”
BABYMONSTER’s debut album starts with ‘MONSTERS (Intro)’, and includes the title track ‘SHEESH’, ‘LIKE THAT’, ‘Stuck In The Middle (7 ver.)’, ‘BATTER UP (7 ver.)’, ‘DREAM’, ‘Stuck In The Middle (Remix)’, covering a variety of genres from hip-hop to ballad. RAMI explained the meaning of the title track ‘SHEESH’, saying, “‘SHEESH’ is an exclamation of astonishment. It signifies how we’ve taken the world by surprise.”
The album has garnered attention for including a seven-member version of ‘BATTER UP’.
BABYMONSTER is the first new girl group from YG Entertainment in seven years, following BLACKPINK. Having proven YG’s strength in nurturing BLACKPINK into a global K-pop act, BABYMONSTER has already attracted the attention of music fans worldwide ahead of their debut.
