TREASURE Unit T5 Appears on ‘Music Core’, New Song ‘MOVE’ to be Unveiled for the First Time
[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] Boy group TREASURE’s unit T5 is set to dive into music broadcast activities.
According to their agency YG Entertainment on June 30, T5 will be appearing on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on July 1, setting the stage for their debut song ‘MOVE’. It is expected that they will once again leave a strong impression with their high-quality live performance, which has a different charm from the previous dance videos.
‘MOVE’, which member JUNKYU participated in lyric writing and composing for the first time since debut, is a dance song with an impressive rhythmic base and intense synth sound. Using a talkbox, the addictive hook, escalating brass arrangement for the dance break, and the fresh vocals of the five members were combined to express a strong attraction towards each other.
YG said, “All members have done their best for the day to show the ‘MOVE’ stage to fans. We expect to fully display a more mature charm through T5’s synergy and teamwork.” They also added, “We are planning to present various stages in the future, so please look forward to it.”
T5’s ‘MOVE’, which was released on June 28, topped the iTunes song chart in 20 regions. It also topped the real-time charts on Japan’s Rakuten Music and AWA.
Following T5’s activities, TREASURE plans to release their 2nd full album ‘REBOOT’ filled with new songs in August. As the album title, meaning ‘restart’, suggests, TREASURE’s brilliant takeoff from a new starting point is anticipated.
