BLACKPINK JISOO’s ‘FLOWER’ Tops Global YouTube Song Top 100 Chart for Two Consecutive Weeks
[연합뉴스=이태수 기자] YG Entertainment announced on the 16th that JISOO’s solo album title song ‘FLOWER’ has topped the Global YouTube Song ‘Top 100’ chart for two consecutive weeks. JISOO’s ‘FLOWER’ ranked 2nd in the most-watched music video category worldwide, following its 1st place last week. The ‘Flower’ music video also surpassed 100 million views in just eight days since its release.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has announced additional North American stadium performances as their ongoing world tour ‘BORN PINK’ receives rave reviews. Accordingly, BLACKPINK will hold encore performances at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 12th, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on August 18th, Oracle Park in San Francisco on August 22nd, and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on August 26th.
YG Entertainment stated, “The venues announced for these additional performances are all large-scale stadiums capable of accommodating tens of thousands of people,” adding, “This demonstrates BLACKPINK’s solid foothold in the American music market, the birthplace of pop, and their widespread popularity, as well as their overwhelming ticket power.”
