Group BLACKPINK will take the stage of the ‘HYDE PARK BRITISH SUMMER TIME FESTIVAL’ (hereinafter ‘HYDE PARK’), the most highly regarded British music festival. This is the first among a K-POP artist.

‘HYDE PARK’ announced the 2023 lineup on the 21st (local time), and said that “BLACKPINK will be making an appearance as the festival’s headliner on the 2nd of July next year”. They then added, “We put a lot of effort into the lineup of the festival, as we’re commemorating the 10th anniversary pf the festival. BLACKPINK, who have now established themselves as a top-class artist, will light up the best outdoor performance venue with BLINKS”.

As a result, following their performance at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2019 as the first K-POP girl group, BLAKPINK will take the stage of ‘HYDE PARK’ as the first Korean artist. They plan on performing along top-class musicians such as Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and P!NK, who are also the headliners of the 2023 lineup.

‘HYDE PARK’ is a festival where around 65,000 music fans get together and enjoy music of various genres such as rock, hip-hop, electronic and R&B with world-renowned pop stars. The festival has been held at LONDON HYDE PARK, also known as the backyard of the British Royal Family, and is a place that’s been established as a place for various cultural events and trend such as fashion and life style.

Previously, various world-renowned artists such as Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Taylor Swift, Adele, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John and Bruno Mars left their footmarks on this stage.

Pre-sales for 2023 ‘HYDE PARK’ can be taken part through AMEX, Venue, and AEG, and general tickets will go on sale from 6PM (KST). More details can be found on the detailed notice board of HUDE PARK and American Express.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK successfully wrapped up their Seoul tour recently, kicking off their official world tour. Starting off with Dallas on the 25th and 26th in North America, they will perform 14 times at 7 cities, and then head to Europe and perform 10times in 7 cities from November to December. From 2023, they will go to Asia and Oceania and meet with 1.5 million audiences in total during their world tour.
