Psy phenomenon: American Idol’s audience gives Psy a standing ovation
World star Psy is now entering a new realm, taking a step that moves him beyond the field of music. In the United States, he is invited to receive an award while in Canada, he is invited to host a popular television program.

This is the final round of the American Idol, the most popular talent show television program in the United States.

With the introduction of the world star by the MC, Psy jumps up on the stage. He is joined by a huge round of applaud from the audience.
Perhaps his 330 million YouTube hits makes it obvious that everyone already knows the dance – everyone stands up to sing and dance along his newest song “Gentleman.”

Psy will be attending the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas as an awardee.

Next week he will appear on a show of ABC to perform “Gentleman,” while he is invited to MC at a music video award event in Canada.
At the moment he is moving a little slowly in Billboard’s main chart, ranking 39, but his active participation in many television shows will pull it up once again.
Psy is doing an excellent job spreading Korean pop culture to the American people through various media, not only as a singer but also as an MC and an awardee in international events.
