‘COMEBACK’ iKON Shows Dreamy Charisma
[OSEN=선미경 기자] Group iKON’s teaser clip, which caused curiosity about the new album concept, has been released, drawing the attention of global music fans.
At 12am of the 15th, YG Entertainment released ‘iKON – CONCEPT TEASER #1’ on their social media platform. Although it’s a short clip of 25 seconds, it shows iKON’s charms as a group.
In the clip, iKON members make an appearance by standing on the rooftop of a gray building. A dreamy song plays in the background. The camera then follows the 6 members walking around the building, and the black and white frames that seem to reverse time gives off a tense vibe.
In particular, the end of the clip showed members gathered underneath a massive iKON symbol structure, and then scattering out to different directions. Curiosity was drawn on what kind of message they are trying to portray, and what kind of relevance this scene had with the upcoming album.
iKON had also recently confirmed their concert on the 25th and 25th of June at Seoul Olympic Hall in Olympic Park. Even more active promotional activities are expected with their new album release.
Meanwhile, iKON produced many hit songs since their debut in 2015 including ‘KILLING ME’, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, ‘My Type’, ‘Apology’, and ‘RHYTHM TA’, and has been leading the K-POP scene every since then.
