iKON Reveals Concept Teaser Video for ‘I’M OK’… ‘Raises Curiosity’ on the Ambient Mood
[한국일보=강기향 기자] iKON revealed part of the title song ‘I’M OK’ from their repackage album and the first teaser video containing the profiles of the 7 members.
On January 2 at 10 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the concept teaser video for the title song ‘I’M OK’ through their official blog. A voice repeatedly recited the title of the song, ‘I’M OK’, raising curiosities on the mood and the concept of the new song.
The members’ melancholy eyes under the red lights were zoomed in, creating an ambient mood. The following black and white scene showed members who seemed to be in agony.
iKON’s new song ‘I’M OK’, scheduled to be released on the 7th, was composed by B.I and Future Bounce, while B.I, BOBBY, and Kim Jong Won participated in writing the lyrics to raise completion of the track.
The repackage album will finalize iKON’s ‘NEW KIDS’ series that started with ‘NEW KIDS: BEGIN’ released back in 2017 and continued through their 2nd album ‘RETURN’, ‘NEW KIDS: CONTINUE’, and ‘NEW KIDS: THE FINAL’ released in 2018, along with the new song.
The new song ‘I’M OK’ is expected to be revealed through iKON’s encore concert in Seoul on the 6th, a day prior to the release of the repackage album, raising the fans’ expectations on the new song and the concert.
iKON has received a lot of love from the public with consecutive hits including ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, the national sing-along anthem that topped music charts for 43 days, ‘KILLING ME’, and ‘LOVE SCENARIO’.
Since iKON is starting the new year strong by holding their encore concert and the releasing a repackage album after establishing themselves as one of the most popular groups with amazing achievements, the fans are looking forward to what iKON will achieve this year.
