YG TREASURE Confirms First Japanese Arena Tour
[스타뉴스=김수진 기자] YG mea group TREASURE confirmed their Arena concert tour which will be held 17 times across 6 major Japanese cities.
According YG Entertainment on the 1st, TREASURE will be starting off their Japanese Arena tour on the 26th of November at Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center in Hokkaikitaeru.
They will then meet with Japanese fans until the 4th of January by visiting Sundome Fukui, Aichi Nippon Gaishi Hall, Fukuoka Marine Messe Fukuoka, Hyogo Kobe Port Island Hall, and Saitama Super Arena.
In total, TREASURE will be housing 155,000 audiences through his Arena tour. This is the biggest scale for a K-POP artist who is visiting Japan for the first time since debut, which shows their status and popularity.
TREASURE had shown explosive growth in Japan just with their music and video content, despite the fact that they couldn’t carry out any other activities in Japan due to the COVID-19 situation.
From their debut song ‘BOY’ to ‘I LOVE YOU’, ‘MMM’, and ‘MY TREASURE’ all their title-songs have swept the top spot on Japan’s major music charts
The Japanese version of their track-song ‘U’ which was released on the 31st of March has been on top of Japan’s Line Music Top Song 100 for two consecutive days.
Along with TREASURE’s outstanding skills, interest is also high in Japan as 4 members of the group are Japanese. Enthusiastic responses are expected as Japanese members’ hometowns are included in the Arena schedule.
TREASURE members said “We were hoping to hold a concert in Japan one day, and we’re so happy to hold an Arena tour. This is all thanks to TREASURE MAKERs. We’ll make sure to show the best of us for fans who waited for us”.
Meanwhile, TREASURE will be holding their first concert ‘TRACE’ in Korea on the 9th and 10th of April. TREASURE will be showing their first performance of ‘DARARI’ at the concert.
