TREASURE JIHOON Drops Out of Inkigayo…He says “was able to grow while hosting the show”
[MK스포츠=손진아 기자] TREASURE JIHOON thank his fans for supporting him as the host of a music show, and also said he’ll pay the love with even more active stage performances.
JIHOON hosted his last show of SBS Inkigayo on the 27th. He fulfilled his role as the ‘K-POP guide’ for ar ound a year after being chosen as the host of a terrestrial channel music show, 7 months after debut.
Through his agency YG Entertainment, JIHOON said “Every Sunday was filled with happiness thanks to Inkigayo and fans’ enormous support. Not only could I see the stages of seniors and juniors of the industry, but I was able to grow even more thanks to people around me. I’ll now focus more as a member of TREASURE, and pay back the love I received through performances and music”.
JIHOON had led the music show professionally, despite the fact it was his first time hosting a show. Not only did he introduce artists’ stages well, but he also led the interview segment with his witty words and reactions. He spit out add-lips in diffrerent situations, and earned favorable reviews from the public with his smooth yet professional hosting skills.
His chemistry with his co-hosts NCT SUNCHAN and IVE Yujin was also impressive. They showed great team-work as if they’ve been doing this for a long time, and received attention from global fans as ‘nininiz’. JIHOON was able to show off his charms and characteristics, different to what fans could see during TREASURE’s performances, grabbing even more attention from K-POP fans.
Meanwhile, TREASURE made an appearance on Inkigayo on the 27th, and will be holding their very first concert ‘TRACE’ on the 9th and 10th of April at Olympic Hall, Olympic Park, Bangidong, Seoul.
