BLACKPINK’s ‘Pretty Savage’ Surpasses 200 million Streams on Spotify

YG Entertainment said on the 13th that “’Pretty Savage’ listed on BLACKPINK’s first full album surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform on the 12th”.
‘Pretty Savage’ was a song that competed with ‘Lovesick Girls’ till the very end as the title track of their first full album. It’s been loved by music fans from all around the world with it’s simple yet addictive rap and explosive drop parts on top of minimal yet sensual trap beats.
‘Pretty Savage’ also drew favorable reviews, being chosen as the best song of BLACKPINK’s first full album by U.S. Billboard staff. Video contents with just the ‘Pretty Savage’ song and music show performance video reached hundreds of millions of views on YouTube, proving it’s popularity.
BLACKPINK currently has a total of 18 songs that reached hundreds of millions of streams. This is the most and best record as a K-POP girl group. Prior to ‘Pretty Savage’, ‘Kill This Love’(500 million), ‘How You Like That’(500 million), ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’(400 million), ‘Ice Cream’(300 million), ‘As If It’s Your Last’(300 million), JENNIE’s solo song ‘SOLO’(300 million), ‘BOOMBAYA’(300 million), and ‘Playing With Fire’, ‘Lovesick Girls’, ‘WHISTLE’ all reached more than hundreds of millions of streams with 200 million streams.
Meanwhile BLACKPINK member LISA’s first solo album title song ‘LALISA’ is also about to reach 100 million streams on Spotify.
