On January 28, BLACKPINK performed ‘Pretty Savage’, a song from their official debut album, on CBS’ ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden(hereby ‘James Corden Show’)’.
The performance was shot where ‘THE SHOW’ will be held, which gathered the people’s attention. The viewers were able to take a peek into the mood of ‘THE SHOW’ along with the live band sounds to be presented at the concert.
Furthermore, the members of BLACKPINK captured the fans’ eyes and ears by filling up the stage with their unchanged dominant performance, along with their glamorous stylings.
Related officials of YG explained, “Their performance of ‘Pretty Savage’ was pre-recorded for the ‘James Corden Show’ so it won’t exactly be the same with their actual performance to be presented at the concert”. They added, “What they will present after their performance of ‘Pretty Savage’ will be very special”. They also hinted, “There are many different main sets with different characters prepared for the concert. You may look forward to it”.
During the video chat with James Corden, BLACKPINK stated “We were worried at first since it was our first time preparing for a livestream concert, but it’s fun and we’re happy”. They added, “We are perfectly prepared, including the best staff members and band. We’re excited and look forward to seeing BLINKs(fan) enjoy our concert”.
ROSÉ, who will reveal her upcoming solo single at the concert, could not hide her happy face as she stated, “I’m happy that I will be able to present my song for the first time in front of my fans. That itself is meaningful and special”.
Meanwhile, the ‘James Corden Show’ is one of the representative talk shows in the US, hosted by entertainer and comedian, James Corden. It was the second time BLACKPINK appeared on the ‘James Corden Show’ since back in 2019 when they released ‘KILL THIS LOVE’.
