BLACKPINK LISA, Pre-sales For Solo Album Exceeds ‘800,000’ Copies
[파이낸셜뉴스=신진아 기자] YG Entertainment announced on the 10th that pre-sales for BLACKPINK LISA’s first solo single album ‘LALISA’ exceeded 800,000 copies.
YG said “We’re positive that this is an all-time record for K-POP female solo artists”. It also added “It’s a figure where we can expect becoming a million seller”.
LISA will be releasing her first solo single album ‘LALISA’ at 1pm. Her debut as a solo artist has been grabbing spotlight from the very beginning and she has been showing overwhelming charisma as a top girl group member BLACKPINK.
LISA said “I’m very happy and excited to show a new side of me with my new music”. She also added “I’ve prepared hard for ‘LALISA’ so that fans can be proud of me and remember it as the best moment”.
LISA’s solo album contains 4 tracks including title ‘LALISA’ and ‘MONEY’. Strong brass leaf and dynamic rhythm shows perfect harmony in her hip-hop genre title song. ‘MONEY’ is also garnering great attention where LISA’s explosive swag and energy explodes.
Meanwhile LISA will be meeting fans first with a ‘COUNTDOWN LIVE’ session aired live simultaneously through NAVER V LIVE and TikTok, an hour ahead of the release. She will then show her first performance at U.S. NBC’s representative talk show ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.
