AKMU’s Collaboration Song ‘NAKKA’ with IU Tops Charts… Songs From the Album Lined Up in Charts

The title track ‘NAKKA’ from AKMU’s first-ever collaboration album ‘NEXT EPISODE’ was ranked at no. 1 on Bugs, Genie, and Naver Vibe’s Real-time Music Chart as of July 27 at 8 AM. The song was also placed on the top ranks of Melon, which accumulates streams in a 24-hour period, proving the duo’s strong influence.
Moreover, not only ‘NAKKA’, but all songs from the album are receiving favorable reviews. Starting with ‘NAKKA’(with IU), songs ‘Hey kid, Close your eyes’(with Lee Sunhee), ‘Stupid Love Song’(with Crush), ‘Tictoc Tictoc Tictoc’(with Beenzino), ‘BENCH’(with Zion.T), ‘Next Episode’(with Choi Junghoon of JANNABI), and ‘EVEREST’(with Sam Kim) were lined up from no. 1 to no. 7 on Bugs, successfully ‘lining up’ the chart top ranks.
The official video for ‘NAKKA’ released on the same day also grabbed the music fans’ hearts with its sensuous visuals and message. The part where LEE CHANHYUK started to fall then rise back up after grabbing LEE SUHYUN’s hand expressed the strong will to ‘Be together without caring other people’s standards despite any hardships’, presenting an overwhelming moment for the viewers.
