YG TREASURE Reveals ‘Quiz Show’ Winners… Amusement Park Conquer Story
[OSEN=선미경 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE visited an amusement park as a reward of winning the ‘Quiz Show’, and spent an unforgettable day full of joy.
On ‘TREASURE MAP’ Season 2 episode 49 uploaded on YG Entertainment’s official blog on the 4th, the members continued the ‘Exploration of TREASURE’ quiz show and visited Lotte World.
One of the strongest winning candidates of the ‘Quiz Show’, HARUTO, was not able to solve the final subjective quiz. So the consolation match rule was applied, making all members of TREASURE to return and participate the ‘Quiz Show’.
The following subject was on estimating how the members would act. TREASURE has been showing off their tight friendship and teamwork, but their fates crossed between right and wrong answers since it was a ‘Quiz Show’ of unexpected fun.
While a surprise birthday party for leader CHOI HYUN SUK added a heartwarming moment, a subjective quiz asking his way of expressing gratitude appeared, flustering the members.
CHOI HYUN SUK expressed his gratitude by stating, “Tears are coming out, but not because I want them to”, while the final 3 members who got the right answer were JUNKYU, MASHIHO, and YOSHI.
Furthermore, all 3 members solved the final quiz, becoming the winners of the show. They were given ‘boss power’ which allows them to control an episode of TREASURE MAP with the ‘TREASURE MAP 1 episode item’.
The 3 winners used the item to visit Lotte World. They decorated themselves with various headbands and filled their stomach with snakes, and got on the Viking which was their first selected ride.
However, that was not it. They were given the mission that the free pass will be given to them only if they complete singing ‘MY TREASURE’. TREASURE members were able to receive the free pass after two trials through their wind piercing crowd singing, nice harmony, and natural stage manners.
TREASURE than began to get on various rides. The members got on ‘French Revolution’ two times. They also enjoyed thrill through a ‘Merry Go Round’, ‘Atlantis’, ‘Gyro Spin’, and ‘Gyro Swing’, as they conquered Lotte World.
After making debut last year on August, TREASURE released 4 albums of ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series for within approximately 5 months under YG’s fast·concentrated strategy, which accumulated over a total of 1M in sales.
All title songs from their 4 albums have topped major global music charts, while their Japanese debut album ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’ has won 5 titles on local major weekly album charts including the Oricon·Line Music·Billboard Japan.
