TREASURE’s Overnight ‘TRECATION’→Members’ Fate Changed by Card Picking
[OSEN=하수정 기자] YG’s rookie group spend an exciting 2-day vacation as a fate-joined community in groups of 2.
On Episode 41 of ‘TREASURE MAP’ Season 2 revealed through YG’s official blog on April 9, the members of TREASURE were excited due to their outdoor shooting they’re having in quite some time.
It was called the ‘TRECATION Special’ among the members. The 12 members made groups of 2 and got on the gondola to arrive at the top, and were planning to get down by getting on a luge.
However, the ‘TRECATION Special’ was fake, and the actual theme was ‘My partner is my destiny’. A rule was added that the destiny of the day will be changed, depending on the card selected by each member’s partner. For example, if the partner selects a treasure card, the member can get on a luge, but could not if the partner selects a skeleton card.
The first group, YOON JAE HYUK and PARK JEONG WOO, revealed their sincerity and eagerness and selected the cards with their shaky hands. They strongly hugged each other after finding out that the card they’ve selected was a treasure card. However, ASAHI and SO JUNG HWAN who looked confident selected the skeleton card, and made their lonely exit.
After getting on the luge, the members screamed throughout the entire time, enjoying the speed and thrill. They also left a memorable photo by recognizing the surprise photo zone, despite the fast speed of the luge.
BBQ time was prepared for dinner, and the card selection time returned as well. All members excluding PARK JIHOON, BANG YE DAM, DOYOUNG, and MASHIHO selected the treasure card and performed a ceremony of happiness on the thought that they will enjoy pork belly barbeque.
The final highlight was the ‘random bed choice game’. Groups who found the treasure card while exploring an abandoned house were able to sleep indoors, but had to sleep outside if they select the skeleton card.
YOON JAE HYUK, PARK JEONG WOO, ASAHI, and SO JUNG HWAN found the treasure card in the dark and were able to sleep indoors. YOSHI and HARUTO also selected the treasure card in the final additional card selection chance, and enjoyed their victory of happiness.
The members shared their thoughts after the game. SO JUNG HWAN, who was eligible to sleep indoors, revealed his passion by earnestly stating, “I think we’ve summed up all episodes of ‘TREASURE MAP’ until now”. PARK JIHOON, who had to sleep outdoors, brightly smiled after stating, “It’s my first time sleeping in a tent. I’ll make good memories”.
Meanwhile, TREASURE revealed their first-ever Japanese debut album ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’ on March 31. The album topped not only the Oricon and Line Music but also Billboard Japan as soon as it was released, achieving 5 titles on major Japanese weekly album charts.
