‘Solo Debut D-1’ BLACKPINK ROSÉ’s Swan-Like Elegant Appearance
[매경닷컴 MK스포츠=김나영 기자] With only a day left until BLACKPINK ROSÉ’s solo debut, her outfit concept to appear on the MV of her title song unveiled, gathering the attention of viewers.
On March 11, YG Entertainment uploaded the ‘D-1’ poster notifying that the release of ROSÉ’s first solo single album ‘R’ is imminent, through their official blog.
In the poster, ROSÉ wore a white colored outfit with glamorous designs, under the shining lights. Her elegant figure reminded the people of a swan, emitting extraordinary aura.
It contrasted to ROSÉ wearing a black outfit with fiery looking eyes on the previously revealed poster. Her eyes looking down and her serious facial expression presented warm and delicate charisma.
By teasing acoustic guitar variations, tense melodies, and mystic instrument arrangement, the fans are wondering what kind of message she will imply through her title track ‘On The Ground’.
She also teased her powerful and rough but also mellow and delicate vocals on the part where she sings, ‘Everything I need is on the ground’ which appeared to be part of the hook, leading to enthusiastic responses from the global music fans.
ROSÉ’s solo single album ‘R’ will be released on March 12 at 0 AM in US Eastern Standard Time, and at 2 PM on the same day in Korea Standard Time. The physical copies of ‘R’ has already received over 400 thousand pre-orders. It is the biggest record in K-Pop female solo artist history.
ROSÉ will hold her ‘COMEBACK LIVE’ through Naver V LIVE on the 12th at 1 PM, an hour before the release of her solo album, to meet the global fans.
