[OSEN=강서정 기자] iKON gathered the people’s attention by proving their strengthened group teamwork through their performance of ‘Why Why Why’.

On March 10 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded iKON’s ‘Why Why Why’ dance practice video through their official blog.

iKON’s fierce performance opposite to the lyrics of the song which sang regrets and sadness on a breakup impressed the viewers. The members lying down and getting up before the intro of the second verse looked as if they’ve measured the exact angle with a knife.

The ‘promise dance’ which expressed a broken promise with a lover and the embodiment of the lyrics, ‘Only white ashes remain’ were the point moves of the dance. iKON’s abundant facial expressions and perfect dynamics control creating harmony with the mournful melody also made the viewers focus on the video.

BOBBY’s appearance, described as a “New attempt” by iKON, also made the video more interesting. He does not appear on the first verse but appears on the second verse as his part begins, showing iKON’s continuous efforts on attempting new change.

iKON has previously hoped, “We devoted ourselves as we made our own suggestions. We did not use the exact performance given by the choreographers, but made many detailed changes. We’ve worked and prepared hard, so please enjoy”.

Meanwhile, iKON’s ‘Why Why Why’ is popular on various global charts. The song which topped iTunes Song charts in 10 different countries on the date of its release is maintaining its top spot on Rakuten Music, one of Japan’s major music platform, for 6 consecutive days. The song is also placed on the top ranks of QQ Music, which is the biggest music platform in China, which proved the group’s global presence.
