YG TREASURE’s Successful Debut as Web Drama Actors… 12 Different Charms of the 12 Members Explode
[OSEN=지민경 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE successfully completed their challenge on web drama acting through their self-produced reality program, ‘TREASURE MAP’.
On March 5, YG Entertainment uploaded episode 36 of ‘TREASURE MAP Season 2’ through their official blog. Through the web drama titled ‘It’s OK, It’s Friendship’, TREASURE perfectly pulled off characters with unique settings as well as presenting their brilliant charms, making the drama even more interesting.
DOYOUNG and JUNKYU acted as transfer students and made the viewers focus by acting naïve faces in front of the school gate. PARK JEONG WOO, YOON JAE HYUK, HARUTO, ASAHI, and SO JUNG HWAN took roles as the ‘most popular students’ in the school, and showed off their charisma.
PARK JEONG WOO acted with cool gestures and voice tone which fit his character’s setting of being the golden child, while YOON JAE HYUK showed off his delightful charms which fit his character as the prince of delivery. The two people created tension with DOYOUNG, allowing the narration to build up along with their amazing chemistry. PARK JEONG WOO expressed his jealousy on YOON JAE HYUK and DOYOUNG in a lovely way, which grabbed the viewers’ attention.
HARUTO, who turned to a successor of a hotel, naturally expressed his elegance through his sharp eyes and his chic way of speaking. He presented a bittersweet romance with JUNKYU by making cold remarks but making a simile. The two people presented a perfect ‘pull and push friendship’ by staying distant to each other but by also gradually closing their distance.
ASAHI, the son of the owner of a world-famous alcoholic beverage enterprise, and SO JUNG HWAN, the son of the secretary to the hotel president, took roles that vitalized ‘It’s OK, It’s Friendship’. BANG YE DAM, YOSHI, MASHIHO, and CHOI HYUN SUK also made appearances in the right place at the right time, making the viewers’ burst into laughter with their eye-catching reactions. JIHOON pulled off numerous roles as a classmate, teacher, and secretary, showing his infinite potential as an actor.
Meanwhile, episode 37 of ‘TREASURE MAP Season 2’ will present the behind stories of ‘It’s OK, It’s Friendship’. They will reveal the process of challenging acting on a web drama for the first time of their lives, as well as their delightful charms and friendly mood of the shooting scene.
