[동아닷컴=정희연 기자] With only a week left until BLACKPINK ROSÉ’s solo debut, the title track of her first single album has finally been revealed.

According to YG Entertainment, the title track of ROSÉ’s first single album is ‘On The Ground’. Detailed information has not yet been revealed, but ROSÉ revealed her concept visual through the title poster.

In the title poster, ROSÉ presented glamorous and elegant visuals while wearing earrings and a white outfit which made contrast with the dark background in black. Her fierce eyes as she looked to the front with her wind-blown hair even presented alluring aura, which dominated the viewers.

It was quite different from her previous teaser image which implied an empty and dreamlike image, and raised the fans’ curiosities.

Since ROSÉ’s upcoming first-ever solo album ‘R’ is receiving attention from global music fans, the album will be released on the 12th at 0 AM in US EST, and at 2 PM KST.

The album title ‘R’, which is the first alphabet of ROSÉ’s name, signifies her new beginning and her first step as a solo artist. The people are looking forward to the messages ROSÉ will pass on through her movie scene-like image and resonant music.

ROSÉ presented a performance of her sub-title track ‘GONE’ at BLACKPINK’s livestream concert ‘THE SHOW’ (YG PALM STAGE – 2021 BLACKPINK: THE SHOW), which led to passionate responses and reviews.

The ROSÉ – COMING SOON TEASER for the song is heading towards 50M views on YouTube. Despite being a short 33-second clip, the view count is unprecedentedly high. It shows the music fans’ high anticipation on ROSÉ’s upcoming solo project.

Approximately 2 months ago, YG has revealed, “The MV shooting for ROSÉ’s solo album title track has completed” and explained, “Since it is a masterpiece created with enormous amounts of production costs, we are doing our best on post production to raise its level of completion”.

Meanwhile, physical copies of ROSÉ’s first solo album ‘R’ will be released in 3 different formats including a CD, LP, and KiT, and has begun taking pre-orders since March 4. ROSÉ participated in the album design herself using a cinematic mood concept with retro feelings, raising the possession value of the album.
