[스포츠서울=정하은 기자] BLACKPINK’s ‘Ice Cream’ MV surpassed 500M views. It is BLACKPINK’s 10th video to surpass 500M views, which is the biggest record in K-Pop girl group history.
According to YG Entertainment on February 15, BLACKPINK’s ‘Ice Cream’ MV surpassed 500M views on YouTube, as of 10:56 AM. It is in approximately 170 days since its release last year on August 28.
As a result, BLACKPINK has a total of 10 videos with over 500M views on YouTube. Among these videos, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ is about to reach 1.5B soon, while ‘Kill This Love’ and ‘BOOMBAYAH’ have reached 1.2B and 1.1B views, respectively.
BLACKPINK’s ‘Ice Cream’ gathered attention due to the group’s collaboration with global Pop star Selena Gomez. It was a cute and fresh concept attempted by BLACKPINK for the first time in 4 years since making debut, and is loved by numerous global fans since it is a Pop genre song with a simple rhythm and exciting sounds.
