JAY of iKON Presents a Surprise Cover Song for His Fans Celebrating His Birthday, ‘Beautiful Vocals’
[스타뉴스=김수진 기자] JAY of iKON passed on his feelings for his fans by presenting a surprise song on his birthday.
On February 7, YG Entertainment uploaded the ‘‘Happy Birthday : JAY – FROZEN (Sabrina Claudio Cover.)’ video through their official blog.
The cover song presented JAY’s unique, beautiful, and rich vocals creating harmony with the dreamlike melody. The lyrics of ‘While we are in love, time will remain frozen’ was like a confession by JAY towards his fans.
After appearing with ash colored hair and a blue silk shirt, JAY reinterpreted Sabrina Claudio’s song into his own. His amazing vocal skills as he sung in both his natural voice and falsetto stood out, along with his deepened emotions.
JAY is a member of iKON, the group who has made debut back in 2015. iKON has received popularity for their amazing musical talents and stage manners, as well as releasing numerous hits such as ‘MY TYPE’, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, and ‘KILLING ME’.
They have recently confirmed their appearance on Mnet ‘Kingdom’, which is scheduled to premiere on April. It will be their full-member appearance on Mnet in 5 years. The people are looking forward to the fantastic performances to be presented by iKON on ‘Kingdom’, as they are acknowledged for their great live skills and performances.
