TREASURE Reveals Third Performance Teaser for ‘MMM’… Rise in Global Popularity
[엑스포츠뉴스=최희재 기자] Group TREASURE revealed the vocals and melody line of ‘MMM’, prior to their comeback.
On November 4, TREASURE uploaded the third dance performance teaser clip of ‘MMM’, the title song from their third single album, through YG’s official blog and on YouTube.
The clip contained the part from the 36th second until the 54th second of ‘MMM’. The intro and the rap part unveiled on the 2nd and 3rd, while the pre-chorus part of the vocal line was revealed today for the first time, grabbing the people’s attention.
The video began with CHOI HYUN SUK’s latter half of his rap part, which raised the people’s curiosities by leaving a strong impact. In a catchy flow, CHOI HYUN SUK revealed his Hip-hop swag with rhymes such as ‘become a leader that leads / medusa that make you freeze’.
The soft vocal melody part transitioning from the fierce rap part was also impressive. With the beat that changed softly, main vocalist BANG YE DAM’s trendy voice created harmony, making an unexpected change in mood. PARK JEONG WOO’s part when he sang ‘Runnin’ runnin’ runnin’’ was mixed with autotune, raising curiosities on the following part.
Furthermore, TREASURE also grabbed the people’s attention by showing off dynamic choreography composition. On BANG YE DAM’s gesture of conducting, the members moved left and right, presenting a glamorous group dance. TREAURE has been revealing the ‘MMM’ dance performance teaser clips from November 2. They will reveal a total of five 18-second clips until November 6. It is unprecedented to reveal 1 minute and 30 seconds of a song prior to its official release, which shows YG’s strong confidence.
TREASURE’s first dance performance teaser surpassed 1M views in 36 hours. The second teaser surpassed 1M views in approximately 24 hours, while the third teaser which was revealed today(4th) at midnight, is currently headed towards 500 thousand views in just 8 hours, proving TREASURE’s growing popularity.
After making debut on August 7, TREASURE has been expanding their influence in the global music market under YG’s fast·concentrated strategy. The 2 single albums they’ve released have sold almost 500 thousand copies, while songs ‘BOY’ and ‘I LOVE YOU’ were ranked at the top of various global charts in Japan and China.
