Killing Part from YG TREASURE’s ‘MMM’ Revealed… Fierce Rap+Group Dance of 12 Members
[OSEN=지민경 기자] The killing part of YG TREASURE’s upcoming Hip-hop single ‘MMM’ has been revealed for the first time. As only a day remains prior to their comeback, the global fans’ expectations are higher than ever.
On November 5, YG Entertainment uploaded the fourth dance performance teaser clip of TREASURE’s title song ‘MMM’ from their third single album, through their official blog.
The clip revealed ‘MMM’ from its 54th second until 1:12. The previous teasers revealed the song’s intro, rap, vocals, and pre-chorus, while the first half of the song’s chorus has finally unveiled.
The video began with JUNKYU’s voice. On top of a strong and catchy melody, he presented confident lyrics such as ‘That’s me / Don’t be afraid take my hand’. The sensuous vocals which sounded as if he was whispering impressed the viewers.
Furthermore, in addition to the glamorous performance of TREASURE members, the killing part that will grab the fans’ hearts in an instant has been revealed, captivating the viewers of the teaser. The song title ‘MMM’ was an exclamation that was let out after the lyrics, ‘I’m going to explode because of you(because of you)’.
The provocative lyrics which stated ‘Mmm~ / My heart goes Mmm~’ and the dance moves for the part also hit the climax. The members of TREASURE touching their lips and sweeping up their hearts were enough to make the global fans’ hearts flutter. The teaser was literally enough to put the viewers in awe.
The sharp group moves of the 12 members also grabbed the people’s attention. In addition to the transitioning beat, TREASURE dominated the stage with their perfect ‘knife formation’. With PARK JEONG WOO’s whisper, ‘I think I’m crazy’, the formation changed, and the teaser ended. It raised anticipation on the following part that will be revealed tomorrow(6th).
TREASURE has been revealing the dance performance teaser clips for ‘MMM’ starting from November 2, every midnight. A total of five 18-second teaser clips will be revealed.
It is an unprecedented promotion method of revealing a minute and 30 seconds of the song and its choreography, prior to the official release of the song. The revealed dance performance teasers reached a total of 3.8M views on YouTube, making the people realize TREASURE’s rising popularity.
TREASURE will release their third single album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER THREE’ and its Hip-hop title song ‘MMM’ on November 6. The global fans are showing support on their upcoming single due to the fact that TREASURE will be presenting a song in Hip-hop, which is the biggest strength of YG music, in 3 months after making debut.
