YG TREASURE Reveals Selfie MV of ‘COME TO ME’… Presents Fresh Charms Which Capture the Fans’ Hearts
[OSEN=심언경 기자] YG TREASURE captured the fans’ hearts with a selfie version MV of ‘COME TO ME’.
On August 15, TREASURE revealed the selfie version MV of ‘COME TO ME’, a song listed on their debut album, taken for the fans by themselves.
The video was produced with a concept of communicating with the fans through a computer screen, chat room, and a video call design. TREASURE’s behind-the-scenes from their dance practice room and filming scenes were also presented to grab the fans’ hearts.
‘COME TO ME’ has a differentiated charm from that of the title song ‘BOY’, and has fresh synth sounds and exciting melodies that impress its listeners. TREASURE’s unique boyishness and positive energy combined on top made the message of ‘come to me’ feel more empathetic.
After releasing their debut single album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’ on the 7th, TREASURE is meeting the fans through online fan signing events.
After completing their first fan signing even on the 14th, TREASURE shared their thoughts by stating, “It was exciting and fun since we’ve met our fans for the first time after making debut. We would like to meet more Treasure Makers in the future”.
TREASURE will appear on MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ today(15th) and on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on the 16th. After making their successfully music broadcast debut last week on ‘Inkigayo’, the group received favorable reviews by dominating the stage despite being rookies.
Meanwhile, TREASURE’s title song ‘BOY’ has topped iTunes Song charts in 19 different countries as well as topping the Hanteo Chart Album Sales category with their debut album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’ released on the 13th.
The ‘BOY’ MV also surpassed 10M views in 26 hours and 20M views in 6 days since its release, proving their global presence and influence. Their dance practice video also surpassed 3M views, which heated up the dance cover fever as well.
They are performing well in Japan. ‘BOY’ was at a rising trend on the Song Top 100 Daily chart of Line Music, Japan’s biggest music platform, and proved themselves to be the best rookies of K-Pop in 2020 by topping the according chart for 3 consecutive days.
TREASURE is YG”s major rookie group launched in 4 years since BLACKPINK. The group, formed to target the global market, is composed of 12 members including CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, JUNKYU, MASHISHO, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, BANG YE DAM, DOYOUNG, HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, and SO JUNG HWAN.
