TREASURE to Hold Twitter Blue Room Live Today(14th)… Will Meet Global Fans
[뉴스엔=김명미 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE will connect with the global fans, celebrating the release of their debut album.
According to YG Entertainment, TREASURE will hold the ‘Blue Room Live’ through their official Twitter account, starting from August 14 at 4 PM.
It is a live broadcast on Twitter to communicate with the fans in real-time and introduce their debut album, ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’.
The live broadcast, which will go on for about an hour, TREASURE will unbox the physical copies of their own albums, released on the 13th. It will be an opportunity to see the album composition in detail with the members, including the photobook, photo card, and hologram postcard.
A corner to solve the fans’ curiosities has also been prepared. TREASURE will answer the questions made by the fans and get closer to them.
After notifying their activities after making debut on the 7th, TREASURE is YG’s major rookie group launched in 4 years since BLACKPINK. Composed of 12 members, the group is receiving popularity in and out of Korea, as they have targeted the global market from the start.
Their title song ‘BOY’ has topped iTunes Song charts in 19 different countries, the Top 100 Daily chart of Line Music, Japan’s biggest music platform, Rakuten Music’s Real-time Comprehensive Rankings, and AWA’s Top Rising chart.
The ‘BOY’ MV also surpassed 10M views in 26 hours since its release on YouTube and will soon reach 20M views, which shows their influence that is uncommon among rookies.
With the heated support from fans, TREASURE entered US Billboard’s ‘Social 50’ chart announced on the 11th for 7 consecutive weeks as no. 5 and even entered Billboard’s ‘Emerging Artists’ chart for 3 consecutive weeks.
