BLACKPINK’s ‘How You Like That’ Achieves ‘All-Kill’ on July’s First Weekly Charts

The pre-release single ‘How You Like That’ from BLACKPINK’s first official album has achieved an ‘all-kill’ on the first weekly charts of July on major Korean music platforms.
Furthermore, BLACKPINK’s ‘How You Like That’ was ranked at no. 1 on the Weekly Chart by Hanteo, which collects comprehensive real-time data from major distributers in and out of Korea. As the group has won their first music broadcast trophy on the 5th in SBS ‘Inkigayo’, BLACKPINK is expected to continue their ‘long-run popularity’.
BLACKPINK’s ‘How You Like That’ is becoming prominent not only in Korea, but also in the global music industry.
The song topped iTunes charts in 64 different countries of the world as soon as it was released and was ranked at no. 2 on the Global Top 50 chart on Spotify, the world’s biggest music streaming platform. It was the highest rank in K-Pop history. Furthermore, the song entered UK’s Official Singles Chart as no. 20 on the 3rd(local time), renewing their own best K-Pop girl group record.
The group is also achieving unbelievable results on YouTube. The ‘How You Like That’ MV collected 5 new Guinness World Records including the category, ‘The Most Watched YouTube Video in 24 Hours’, by reaching 86.3M views on the date of its release. The video also reached 100M views in 32 hours and 200M views in 7 days, setting the world’s fastest records as well.
The ‘How You Like That’ MV is currently at approximately 230M views, while it has been 11 days since the video was released. The dance practice video uploaded today(6th) on YouTube has surpassed 4M views in 5 hours since it was uploaded, proving the group’s global popularity.
