iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ Dance Practice Video Surpasses 100M Views! MV About to Reach 400M Views
[마이데일리=여동은 기자] iKON’s dance practice video for ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, the group’s mega-hit song, surpassed 100M views on YouTube.
According to YG Entertainment on June 14, iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ dance practice video surpassed 100M views on YouTube on the 13th at 8:03PM. It is the first dance practice video by iKON to surpass 100M views, excluding their official MVs.
‘LOVE SCENARIO’ is the title song of iKON’s second album ‘Return’, released back in January 2018. The catchy melody and lyrics which the listeners can empathize with became popular among the people regardless of age and gender, establishing the song as the ‘people’s anthem’.
The song topped major real-time music charts for 43 consecutive days and topped weekly charts for 6 consecutive weeks. Through these results, iKON dominated various music award ceremonies including ‘The 10th Melon Music Awards’, ‘2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards’, and ‘The 33rd Golden Disc Awards’.
Furthermore, the song topped iTunes album charts in 17 different countries as well as being ranked at no. 1 on China QQ Music’s K-Pop Weekly Chart for 4 consecutive weeks, establishing the background for their ‘long-run’ popularity in overseas charts.
Meanwhile, with the consistent love and support by fans in and out of Korea, the MV for ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ is also about to reach 400M views.
iKON released their third mini album ‘i DECIDE’ on February. They successfully completed their 6-member transformation by being ranked at no. 2 on Worldwide iTunes Album chart, and no. 1 on Japan’s iTunes Comprehensive Album chart. They’ve recently been communicating with the global fans through various contents, while working on their upcoming album.
