‘Comeback D-1’ iKON Reveals Partial Intro & Performance of Title Song ‘Dive’, ‘Expectations UP’
[헤럴드POP=이미지 기자] With their comeback only a day ahead, iKON revealed part of the intro and performance of their title song ‘Dive’ raising the expectations on their upcoming song to its max.
On February 5 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded the second MV teaser of ‘Dive’, the title song of iKON’s third mini album ‘i DECIDE’, through their official blog.
The 28 second MV teaser clip showed BOBBY running reckless on a disconnected road as if he is flying, grabbing the viewers’ attention in an instant. The following scene presented the fierce intro melody of ‘Dive’ in addition to the fancy choreography performed by the 6 members, raising curiosities on what kind of performances they will actually present on stage.
The members’ determined looks as they dived into danger without fear filled up the screen, doubling the strong charms of iKON. The empty desert, a place with broken walls, burning statues, and sharp blades expressed the unyielding tenacity and the message of ‘Dive’, that they are willing to risk any type of danger for love.
Their latest teaser revealed the intro melody of ‘Dive’, which reminded people of a film with the harmony of country guitar riffs and sensuous visuals of the MV. The 6 members jumping at the last scene emitted explosive energy as if it represents iKON’s will to fly higher through their upcoming comeback, leaving a strong impression on the viewers.
YG Entertainment has previously uploaded iKON’s D-1 poster at 12 AM to notice iKON’s full-scale comeback through their mini album ‘i DECIDE’. Their album ‘i DECIDE’ contains the passion and will of iKON, to decide and focus on their own future paths. DK wrote, composed, and produced the song ‘Flower’, while BOBBY was also credited as writers on a total of 3 tracks.
iKON, preparing to make their first comeback after reforming into a 6-member group, will release their album ‘i DECIDE’ on the 6th at 6 PM. They will meet their fans prior to the release of their album through their comeback live show titled ‘FM iKON’(with VLIVE) at 5 PM, an hour before their album is released, to greet and communicate with the fans and begin their promotional activities.
