iKON Reveals Full Version Choreography for ‘Dive’… BOBBY, “We Actually Took a Dive”
[스포츠조선닷컴=정유나 기자] iKON conquered global music charts as soon as they made comeback, proving their influence. Meanwhile, the group revealed the full version choreography of ‘Dive’ for the first time, raising expectations on their comeback performance.
On February 7 at 2 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the choreography video of ‘Dive’, the title song of ‘i DECIDE’, through their official blog.
As the full version choreography was revealed following the previous releases of MV teaser clips which revealed parts of the choreography, the viewers paid keen attention.
The members of iKON spiced up their white outfits with red accessories and dominated the screen through their dynamic yet delicate choreography, completing a restrained yet sharp group dance. They expressed the lyrics ‘Dive, and ‘I will burn’ in addition to the characteristics of ‘road of thorns’ and ‘flames’ in an artistic way.
The six members gathered into one place in the intro before JAY jumped and made a dive, as well as expressing the people’s attention with groovy hand motions while completing the ‘flame’ choreography, which both directly expressed the themes of ‘Dive’.
The choreography video also expressed the dynamic moves which symbolized the messages of ‘Dive’ in more dimensions using various camera works.
Regarding the choreography, BOBBY introduced, “We’ve actually took a dive to emphasize our diving motion”. He added, “I hope the choreography looks cool and the people enjoy it”.
The choreography for ‘Dive’ was created through the collaboration with world-famous choreographer Kinjaz, who has previously created the dances for iKON’s hits including ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, ‘KILLING ME’, and ‘GOODBYE ROAD’.
The album ‘i DECIDE’, released on February 6 at 6 PM, topped iTunes Album Charts in 24 different countries after its release as well as being ranked at no. 2 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, proving the group’s global influence. In addition, the song also topped Japan’s iTunes Comprehensive Album Chart and K-Pop Album Chart.
