G-Dragon, The First Korean Solo Artist To Tour Japan’s Four Biggest Stadiums
-G-Dragon adds three more dates to his Japan Dome Tour: ‘The largest audience ever for a Korean solo singer’
BIGBANG’s G-Dragon will become the first Korean soloist to tour Japan’s four biggest stadiums. G-Dragon’s initial announcement in January of his three-stadium Japan Dome Tour in Fukuoka, Seibu and Osaka excited the fans. But as the competition for the tickets turned out to be extremely competitive, G-Dragon’s agency decided to add three more concerts to the original plan – one in Osaka and two in Nagoya.
The 4 Dome Tour is estimated to attract 361,000 fans. Not only will G-Dragon be the first Korean soloist performing in the four stadiums but he will also break the record for the number of people in the audience. In Japan, performing in a stadium is proof of how popular the artist is, so G-Dragon’s extra concert dates in Nagoya Dome, in addition to three major domes, is a testament to his immense popularity.
Meanwhile, fans are excited about seeing each member of BIGBANG performing individually in different entertainment genres for the first half of the year. G-Dragon’s solo concert in Seoul’s Olympic Gymnastic Arena from March 30 to 31 will be followed by the Japan Dome Tour.
T.O.P is awaiting the release of his movie ‘Commitment’, and Daesung’s solo album ‘D’scover’ is expected on February 27 with a solo concert to be unveiled in Japan.
