BLACKPINK Confirmed to Perform at Tokyo Girls Collection as Main Artist

BLACKPINK will decorate the stage for the 30th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Selection 2020 SPRING/SUMMER(abbreviated as Mynavi TGC 2020 S/S) to be held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium on February 29, as the main artist.
The Mynavi TGC 2020 S/S, the event that is facing its 30th collection, is the representative fashion festival of Japan. It will be the fourth time BLACKPINK will be performing at the event, ever since they made debut back in 2017. One can notice BLACKPINK’s local status and popularity within Japan through their consistent participation.
BLACKPINK stated, “We’re happy that our fourth appearance at TGC has been confirmed”. The group shared their excitements by stating, “We’re already excited that we’ll be meeting you soon”. They continued, “Please wait for us. Let’s have fun on the date of the event”.
Last year, BLACKPINK met their global fans through a world tour composed of 32 concerts held in a total of 23 cities in 4 continents.
The group is also meeting Japanese fans through their dome tour in Japan. They gathered an audience of 55 thousand in Tokyo Dome last year on December 4, a combined audience of 100 thousand in Kyocera Dome on January 4th and on the 5th, continuing to sell all tickets for their concerts. BLACKPINK will decorate the finale of their tour on February 22 in Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome.
BLACKPINK is working on their new album in addition to preparing for their Japan dome tour. The people are paying keen attention on BLACKPINK’s upcoming music, as the group has created global sensation through their song ‘Kill This Love’ back in 2019.
