BLACKPINK Becomes the Most Followed Girl Group in the World on Spotify… Surpasses Fifth Harmony

Recently, BLACKPINK’s Spotify channel surpassed 9,604,061 followers. The figure in the greatest number among all girl groups in the world. Furthermore, the fact that BLACKPINK surpassed global girl groups such as Fifth Harmony and Little Mix amazed the fans.
Spotify is the world’s biggest music streaming platform in the world, with the greatest number of users in the globe. Spotify is known to be influential enough to impact well-known charts such as Billboard and UK chart.
The fact that BLACKPINK became the most followed girl group in Spotify proves their global popularity and status. Furthermore, BLACKPINK has the most number of followers and subscribers on YouTube and Instagram. They’ve received the ‘Diamond Creator Award’ for the first time as a K-Pop girl group on YouTube last year on July, and their number of subscribers has currently surpassed 30 million.
As mentioned above, BLACKPINK is continuing to set records on platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, and Instagram which indicate global popularity.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has recently completed their first-ever world tour composed of 32 concerts held in 23 cities of 4 continents, after releasing their second mini album titled ‘KILL THIS LOVE’. They will soon hold a dome tour composed of 4 concerts to be held in 3 cities. They will hold a concert in Tokyo Dome on December, in Osaka Kyocera Dome next year on January, and in Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome on February.
